Yes — SportsFINDR connects you with a coach, not gear rental. Bring your own kite and board unless the instructor's profile says otherwise.
If the wind doesn't cooperate, the instructor will contact you to reschedule or cancel the lesson for a full refund. You'll never pay for a session that didn't happen.
No, not specifically. Every instructor has their own experience and / or certifications. You can check the instructor's profile before booking.
You pay securely at booking. The instructor receives the payout after the lesson, and we handle the admin so you don't have to.
No, not for now. We focus on 1:1 lessons to make the most progression.
How it started
This photo? That's the exact evening it clicked.
Two friends on the beach, and one of those conversations that starts as a rant and ends as a plan. It began with a simple frustration — actually, with two.
Jelle, an experienced kitesurfer, was constantly asked to keep an eye on others out on the water. Mieke, on the other hand, was looking for exactly that — someone to coach her through a session, every now and then.
Not a full course. Not a kite school. Just a skilled coach for a focused session — someone who helps you move forward with intention.
Yet finding that kind of coach proved surprisingly hard. In a world where you can book a stay, arrange a ride, or reserve a table in under a minute, there's still no seamless way to find the right sports coach.
So that evening, thumbs up and grinning ear to ear, we decided to build one. A platform where athletes and coaches connect effortlessly. No friction. No noise. Just the right match, at exactly the right moment.
